Apple has sold “incredible” 13 million iPhone 6s and 6s Plus smartphones in first three days a new record for the technology giant.
On Friday when phones were on sale, queues moulded outside Apple Stores throughout the world.
Last year when the models were on sale, Apple had sold 10 million 6 and 6 Plus smartphones.
For the first time The 6s has a faster processor, better camera and a pressure-sensitive screen.
Answering to the statistics, Apple chief executive Tim Cook told: “Sales for iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus have been phenomenal, blowing past any previous first weekend sales results in Apple’s history.
