Facebook creators have disclosed that they are planning to introduce a “dislike” button for Facebook users so that they can rate posts.
“Facebook users were requesting a dislike button to be introduced, since the launch of “like” button in 2009”, said Mark Zukerberg in at a conference in Menlo Park, California. According to the report, developers hope that people will use the “dislike” button as a mode to display their “responsiveness” to a distressing or sad post, rather than using it as a mode for downgrading links. Mark Zuckerberg confirmed that the popular social networking site is presently emerging the purpose as a substitute for the ‘like’ button.
He added, “I think people have asked about the dislike button before several years. Today is a special day since today is the day I can say we’re working on it and shipping it.”
He continued,”What people exactly need is the facility to express &convey their empathy. Not each moment is a good one.”
